A grey tabby cat flattened against a bare wooden floor, head pushed right down to reach food off the boards.
The double bowl stand photographed from above with both stainless inserts in place, its three measurements marked along the edges.
The stand photographed from the side with both bowls full, the fifteen degree tilt of the base marked.
The first photograph is ours and has no product in it. It is the thing the bowls are for. The second and third are the actual product, from the supplier who fills the box, and the measurements on them are theirs. They photograph the stand in two colours and we have not matched the colour to the code yet, so the pictures on this page show both.

Your cat eats with its chin on the floor.

The Bowls. Two stainless inserts in a base that tips them fifteen degrees towards the animal, so the food comes up to meet the mouth instead of the neck going down to meet the floor.

The whole idea, in one angle

Fifteen degrees is the product.

Everything else here is a bowl. The reason this one costs more than a bowl is the wedge underneath it. Drag the angle and watch what the neck has to do.

The drawing is ours and it is a diagram, not a measurement. Fifteen degrees is the figure the supplier builds to, and it is the only tilt this stand comes in.

Two bowls, one stand

The inserts come out.

Both bowls lift straight out of the base, which is the difference between a thing you rinse and a thing you actually wash. The base wipes, the steel goes in the machine.

The stand and one stainless insert photographed separated, with water running over them.
The steel lifts clear of the base. Supplier photograph.

What it is not

Four reasons not to buy this.

If one of these is a dealbreaker, we would rather you found out here than after the box arrives.

We will not call the steel 304.

Every listing in this category does. The supplier’s own specification sheet does not say it, and we are not going to invent a grade for a metal we have not had tested. It is stainless. That is all we can stand behind.

It is too small for a big dog.

The whole stand is thirteen inches end to end. That is right for cats and for a terrier. If you have a retriever, this is the wrong shape of thing and a raised single bowl will serve you better.

The photographs are small.

The supplier’s images for this one top out at a thousand pixels, which is why the product shots on this page are modest rather than full bleed. We would rather show you a small honest photograph than an upscaled soft one.

Tilted is not a cure.

A raised, angled bowl is easier on the neck. It is not a treatment for anything, it will not stop a fussy cat being fussy, and if your animal is actually struggling to eat the answer is a vet, not a bowl.

Forty four dollars, and the floor stops being the plate.
