The spec sheet is
the love letter.
Your animal cannot tell you whether the thing you bought for them is any good. That is the entire problem with this category, and reassurance does not solve it. Information does.
These are promises, not positioning.
We publish the full spec, including the rows that do not flatter us.
Material, grade, gauge, count, weight, noise, origin. Where we have not measured something ourselves, the row says so in orange rather than quietly vanishing. Three rows on the bags page cost us sales and they are staying.
Fragrance free is the default, not an option.
A dog has up to three hundred million olfactory receptors. A cat has around eighty million. You have about five. Scent in a pet product is a decision made for the buyer's four seconds at the cost of the animal's whole day.
We show the mechanism, in one take.
If we say a bag holds, we film one being filled and carried. If we say a part can be replaced, we take it apart on camera. No cuts, no music, no speed ramp to the good bit.
We name the origin first, not in the small print.
Most of this is made in China, and we say so on the product page. Hundreds of shops sell these same objects under invented names using the factory's own photograph. In a category with no exclusivity, telling the truth is the only thing left to be good at.
Our pictures are ours, and a drawing says it is a drawing.
Not the supplier's render, not a borrowed lifestyle shot. Until we have photographed a thing ourselves you get a dimensioned drawing instead, clearly labelled as a drawing, with every figure taken from the spec sheet and every unmeasured row marked in orange. You should be able to hold the thing that arrives next to the page and find no argument.
We tell you what we got wrong.
Every failure report gets written up in the journal with the product named, including the ones that are our fault. The unhappy reviews stay up with our reply underneath them.
This is what promise three looks like in practice. It is the supplier’s own dimension plate, carried across to our page with nothing on it touched. Until we have photographed a product ourselves, every page here says which pictures came from the people who make the thing and which are ours, in a line under the gallery.
The list that actually tells you who we are.
Anyone can write a values page. This is the version with something at stake in it.
No fake urgency.
No countdown timers, no "nine people are viewing this", no stock counter that resets when you reload. If something is genuinely low we will write it in a sentence.
No pre-ticked anything.
No subscription slipped into the cart, no insurance toggle on by default, no rounding up for a charity you did not choose. Every box on this site starts empty.
No borrowed reviews.
We will not import reviews from a supplier listing, buy them, or write them ourselves. Until real ones exist, the section says it is empty. It currently says that.
No guilt in the marketing.
We are not going to suggest you are a bad owner for owning a plastic bowl. You love your animal. You just wanted somebody to have read the spec sheet for you.
No health claims.
A fountain encourages drinking. It does not treat anything. We will not stand next to a vet's words and imply they were about our product.
No cancellation maze.
Stopping a refill takes one tap and no conversation. Nobody is going to call you, and nobody is going to offer you 40% off to stay.
Both of these are short, so read them.
We sell nothing that comes in sizes, which is deliberate. Almost every return in this category is a fit problem, and we would rather not build a business on guessing your animal's measurements.
Shipping
Free on everything with no minimum, three to eight business days, from a US warehouse rather than overseas with a customs surprise. Every order carries a promised date, and if we are going to miss it we write to you before it passes.
Read the shipping policyReturns and refunds
Thirty days, opened or not. We pay the postage when it failed, you pay when you changed your mind, and there is no restocking fee and no number to chase. Whatever went wrong gets written up in the journal with the product named.
Read the returns policyBuilt to be used, not to pass an audit.
If something here does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it rather than file it.
Contrast and text
Body text runs at a minimum of 15px and clears WCAG AA against every background on the site. Nothing is light grey on cream.
Keyboard and screen readers
Every control is reachable by keyboard with a visible focus ring. The sliders and refill pickers are real inputs and buttons, labelled, not styled divs.
Motion
Animation on this site only ever explains something. If your device asks for reduced motion, all of it stops and the content shows in full.
No information in colour alone
An unmeasured spec row is orange and also says it is unmeasured. The colour is a shortcut, never the message.
Hold us to
all of it.
If we break one of these, the journal is where we will say so, and you can bring the receipt.
